Stanley came to us when he was about nine. He has been with us for fourteen years. He is “very big” for his age. Also, nearly all Haitian men grow beards when they are about 18! I still can’t figure out “why?” Ha! (Maybe the Haitian girls like beards???)

Stanley has already completed three years of engineering and this would have been his last year, but the college where he was going shut down due to the gangs. This year, he is enrolling in a course to become an electrician. We all love Stanley, he is shy, humble, and hard-working… and he loves his Haitian family at Love A Child.
