Stephanie, a Miracle!

It was years ago when I was downtown in Port-au-Prince, purchasing some medical supplies for an outreach to the poor. The young lady who worked at the counter told me about a poor mother she had met. She said that the mother said she had “too many children” and that she was also pregnant.

The mother said that when she was about to give birth, she was going to leave the baby and hope that someone would take it home. She said she was poor and could not feed another child.

I found out where that mother was, and when she gave birth, she gave us the baby! We named her “Stephanie!”

Today, Stephanie works for “Love A Child.” She has taken in several children to raise, and she is a Christian! We are so proud of Stephanie! She is one of our best employees!

When things happen in our lives, we can only see a small “portion” of what is taking place. The Haitians say, “What you don’t know is greater than you!” I say, “The Lord knows the beginning and the end of everything!”
