This is “Stephano” from our Love A Child Children’s Home, flying through the air, jumping rope! In Haiti, when boys and girls get a nice long rope, they jump rope and play “jump rope games” together! (You would never see a boy in the states “jumping rope,” but the Haitian kids love it!) Actually, one of our partners sent a big box of smaller “jump ropes” for the kids, and they tied three together to make one long one!

Stephano is ten years old and in the fourth grade. He loves to work, play, sing, and dance! The kids have nicknames for each other. They call him “Tortoise,” meaning turtle!! Stephano is a sweet kid, always smiling! We love him! Sherry
