Daphline… I hate to have “favorites,” but yes, she is one of them! Daphline was born high in the mountains of Savaan Roche! Her mother, Jolucia, died shortly after she was born. Her father “gave her to an aunt whose husband was recently killed.” That woman already had nine children, so baby Daphline was brought to our orphanage by her cousin.

Daphline is in high school now. She is thinking about her future and considering nursing! But for now, she loves riding her bike and working in our kitchen! She is always sweet, kind, and never gives us a day of trouble! I wouldn’t mind having a few more just like her!
