These Haitian mothers are so blessed! They were given big sacks of food from you, our Love A Child partners! These mothers came from the town of Ganthier, about 8-9 miles from Love A Child. Recently, the “gangs” took over the families that lived there (an estimated number of 2,000, plus families!) They took their children and ran, carrying what little they could carry, and headed to the nearest town, Fond Parisien, where we live! These families have been sleeping in school buildings, abandoned buildings, under trees, anywhere.

But thanks to our wonderful partners, we were able to purchase seven huge trucks of food and in addition, each family received a pack of frozen chicken from “Farmer John’s” meat shop! If a Haitian family has no food during the week, they will suffer, but somehow, survive, but, the most important thing is to have “dinner on Sunday!” That’s what they dream about all week!

Today, while you’re eating a nice Sunday dinner, the poor you have blessed, will be eating their dinner, too, and there will be more left over for them this week! Thank you, and may God bless you back 100-fold!! Thank you so much.
