HAITIANS LOVE CHURCH!

Years ago, when we first came on our property here in Haiti, we started to have “Church Services” under an old-fashioned “brush arbor!” It was 10 feet by 10 feet,  made mostly of sticks, twigs, some ropes to hold the wooden posts together, and “faith!” Our first two converts were “Daisy,” an older man who used to brag about being an assassin, whether it was true or not, and Reggie! Reggie was the first man to help us and stand with us when we received this large area of donated land! Haitians are always threatening people over land disputes!

But today, we see a beautiful Haitian church, which is decorated each Saturday to prepare for the Sunday service! The Haitian people and their families make “church” the center of their lives! Think about the Haitian people, and pray for them. They have been through so much! They don’t even have a president. The gangs have taken over in many places. To the Haitian people, God is their source, and a present help in time of trouble!  They “live for Sunday,” when they can go to church, worship the Lord, and find help from the Lord. God bless you.
