Who would ever abandon a baby and leave him in front of our gate at Love A Child? Children have come to us from all directions. Many times, a mother will beg us to take a child. She has too many children, no job, and her husband has left her. Sadly enough, this is Haiti’s “profile.” A young man gets a young girl pregnant, and he leaves her with no help.

Noah was the baby abandoned in front of our gate at Love a Child. He must have been asleep as his mother found some tall weeds to hide him in. He was under one year old. He had “bite marks” all over his body. To us, he must have been a child whose mother was deeply involved in Voodoo. Our Haitian doctor was amazed that he was alive!

Today, Noah is in school, makes good grades, is a good worker, and is “sharp!” He “loves to work!” He is also very intelligent!! He is surrounded by a lot of “brothers” and “sisters” who really love him! And Noah loves to go to church! We know that God has a special “plan” for Noah! God bless all our partners who love our children and care for them.
