This past Saturday, our 4th three-week Sustainable Agriculture class graduated. These six students from various areas around Haiti were selected and sponsored by donors to attend our intensive, three-week course on sustainable agriculture, “Farming God’s Way.” They lived, studied and worked together for 21 days, learning new skills that will change lives back in their home villages for generations to come. With their new confidence and skills, these graduates will be able to help others know how to garden for themselves, providing nutritious food for their families and to take to market to sell. We see such great success out of this program and the demand for more classes stays strong. Here you can see the proud new students after graduation and the gifts that they earned to get started gardening back home: garden seeds from Hope Seeds; tools from Z23 Super Hoe; and Chapin Living Waters drip irrigation kits. Please consider helping Haitians learn to help themselves by sponsoring and supporting our sustainability programs. When you sew into these programs, we all will reap a rich harvest for the Lord. – Rad Hazelip
