Sustainable Agriculture Training Course

Many of you have been trying to register students for our very popular three-week Sustainable Agriculture Training course held at the ATC (Agricultural Training Center) in Fond Parisien. However, we have had to postpone it twice now as we wait for calm conditions to be restored in Haiti, so that it is safe for the students to travel to our “ATC School.” We are now opening registration again for our next class, planned for September 8th through September 28th. This training is perfect for anyone wanting to learn more than just the basics of sustainable gardening practices pertinent to Haiti. It is designed for a family member or even community leaders to come learn sustainable gardening methods to benefit many families in having their own productive nutritious gardens to provide food and even have produce to sell in local markets.

Students, who must be sponsored by an organization working in development or relief in Haiti, can come for three weeks to learn sustainable methods to take back to their villages and begin transferring knowledge to benefit other families there. It is an intensive, residential program lasting three weeks, and classes are limited to a maximum of 10 students per class. For more information, please contact our office in Fort Myers, Florida, at 239-210-6107.
