Daphlina (Daphline)… She was born high in the mountains of Savaan Roche, Haiti. Her mother, Jolucia, died shortly after her birth. Her father tried to give the baby to her mother’s sister, whose husband had just been killed. She already had nine children and could not take on “one more.” Her aunt brought Daphlina down the mountains to our orphanage. She has been here ever since. She is a blessing! She is praying about what direction the Lord wants to make in her life. (She loves to cook!) Thank you for remembering this sweet young girl in your prayers.
