Daphlina (Daphline) was born in the mountains of Savaan Roche (we have worked for many years in this remote mountain village). Her mother, Jolucia, died shortly after she was born. Her mother had a nervous breakdown after the death of her husband, “Daphlina’s father.” She only has a few grades to go before she graduates, but for now, she has found a place in our Orphanage kitchen, working with “Nini,” our cook!

She always says her real dream would be to become a “helicopter pilot,” but she can do almost anything! Daphlina is sweet, humble, and intelligent! We really love this young lady, whom we have had since she was a baby! She will always be tall, beautiful, and gracious.
