This morning we left our orphanage at 4:30 AM to head back to the garbage dump at Truttier. With us were our Haitian workers Philemon, Oriol, and Pastor David Markham. It was worse today than the other day. The rain had fallen hard, leaving mountains of garbage piled high all around us. When we opened the door, we stepped in sewage and mud. Our truck got stuck so badly that we could hardly breathe. The first place we went to was to “Madamn Bourik’s container.” When we gave her a new tarp, she kissed it and hugged it! We tried not to cry as we drove to the next area. Thank you Calvin Babcock for donating those tarps! They were like “gold” to the poor! Sherry
