“Teaching Children How to Give.”

We decided that each year, our Haitian children should give “something that they love very much” to children who are very, very poor. I told them that I didn’t want them to bring “anything ripped, or missing a button, or anything faded, or anything that is ugly. Give your best, because God gives His best!” We were so proud as each child had folded their clothes and carefully laid them in the big boxes that will be taken to the children at the garbage dump. Bobby gave his favorite shirt, I gave my best jacket and our visitors gave their best clothes. Our children, even the babies, and toddlers gave!!!
