Milove’s Story. An Update…

When Milove was born to Madamn Fifi Charles, her father, and mother had a hard time feeding her. Madamn Fifi had been in poor health, so it was difficult to breastfeed her. With three other children, her father abandoned the family. Her mother tried hard to find work, but that is not easy in Haiti. Madamn Charles began to feed her “bread soaked in sugar water.” That’s what she fed this baby and the other kids. Madamn Charles had to send some of her children to stay with family members in order to get food.

Because Milove was so small, the neighbors told her mother that Milove “had Zombies on her!”

Finally, someone told Madamn Charles about our Malnutrition Center. This baby had not eaten for two days prior! After a short time in our Malnutrition Clinic, Milove went from 6 kg to 7.6 kg.

Good news… Milove is going home, and she is going home with food, thanks to you! Her mom will bring her back each month for a check-up and leave with Milove and “216 meals” in a box, carried on her head! We give glory to God.
