Yesterday our semi broke down right at the Dominican border while picking up a container. George called our mechanic team, and after a lot of effort, they got the truck back to Love A Child.
After tearing into the fuel system, our guys found the problem: one tiny, clogged part. They cleared it, and the old truck is running again! These mechanics are geniuses, and I am so thankful for them. That semi is old, gets worked hard every day, and is critical to our work here in Haiti.
This Sunday morning, I am just thankful. Thankful for a truck that is still running, thankful for gifted people who know how to keep it running, and thankful that God continues to provide what we need. And maybe you can add one little thing to your Sunday prayers for us. “Lord, Love A Child sure could use a newer semi.”
We serve a big God, and He knows exactly what we need. Happy Sunday.
