Haitian children are precious. They are loving, courteous, respectful, and thankful. The other day, they sat down and wrote letters to us telling us what they are thankful for and how much they loved us. Of course, they were thankful for their food, their education, their “big family,” and much more.

Bobby and I remember many, many years ago, attending a small church in Melbourne, Florida. After the service, the evangelist wanted to pray for us. He said, “In the future, you will be in a foreign country, a country of black people, and you will be living in a two-story house with many black children.” We have been living in our two-story orphanage with 85 Haitian children for many years now. Many are college-age; when God has a plan, He brings His Word to pass. We are thankful God has chosen us “for such a time as this.”
