Yesterday, Jessica and I let our Love A Child kids make Christmas cookies. We thought it would be easy since we bought the dough already made. The older girls, Widlene, Dimelia, and Esther, helped us, but the oven wasn’t working, and it took a long time to get them all done! We made the icing and set the colored flavors and sprinkles on the table. (Warning: Never try this when you have 80 kids all trying to ice cookies and dump sprinkles while trying to eat icing and sprinkles at the same time!!) It was a long day, but lots of fun!! It reminded me of the time that we let the kids color eggs and “Kristela drank the cup of blue dye!!” I won’t tell you what happened, but you can probably guess!! Ha! Special thanks to our sweet girls who helped us so much, and to Jessica, our new missionary. Thank you, friends and partners, who sponsor our children. If it weren’t for you, most of them wouldn’t be alive to celebrate this wonderful Christmas season! Love, Sherry
