Bobby often talks about how amazing the seed is, marveling that one single seed multiplies into many more. A single seed of wheat grows into a stalk with an average of 100 new grains, and a single seed of corn turns into about 800 kernels on an ear of corn. One apple seed can become a mature tree giving 1,500 apples per year!

God has put a special gift inside every seed. What about an acorn? A single acorn can grow into a regular tree in the forest or a mighty oak that can produce over 100,000 new acorns in its lifetime. Each of us was once a seed. We each should strive to know what special gift God put inside each of our seeds. How we live our lives, the choices we make, the paths we choose all help us live up to the person He imagined for us. He gave us the gift, but it is up to us to choose the right paths to become the mighty oak that the Lord wants our acorn to be. We choose how we will benefit from His love and grace. May it be said that yours was a “life well lived.”
