We have a Birthday Party each month now for all kids who have their birthdays in that month! This party was for February kids (because we were late)… We have Jovanie, Samuel, Daphline, the twins (Daniella and Daniel), and Stanley. We had ice cream cones and cake and cold drinks; and yes, after a couple of hours of singing and dancing, they were bouncing off the walls! Bryan helped babysit little Zachary because he is a little “spoiled” and wants to be held all the time!

The kids played a special video and song and sang with it… even all the older kids. It was a video of all the songs they sang when they were in kindergarten and playing “jump rope!” This is what we love about Haitian children. They don’t care if a song isn’t “cool,” but if it is something they can do motions to and have a good time, they can “just have silly fun!” Everyone was singing and dancing!

Each one got a small gift and an ice cone… and Sampson, our Rottie, got one too! Everyone was happy!
