Last evening, we celebrated Birthdays in July and August… “Ada, Dieubon, David and Davidson, Djina, Fabiola, Stephano, Mackenson, Danielo, Wilguens.”

Each child got an envelope with some Haitian money inside! (We encourage children to “save” their money!!) Besides, there are not a lot of things to buy, so saving is easy!

We played the egg game… “who can win the race, carrying an egg on a spoon, to the finished line!!”

The kids played games and sang… loud!! Everyone had a good time, and they especially loved the cake and ice cream! Yum!!

It was so nice to go upstairs and “shy the door,” to peace and quiet!” Ha!! Ha!!
