Yesterday, all our older Love A Child girls went to Petionville to get “all dolled up” for Julia’s wedding (Julia is one of our older girls). Weddings in Haiti are a “very big celebration” especially for a young girl who was raised in an orphanage. Our older girls did a special “dance” for the wedding! Of course, the wedding, which was supposed to start at 3:00 p.m. did not start until almost 6:00 p.m.!! (That’s normal for Haiti!)

This morning, our driver brought the older girls back, who felt like they had been away from home for a year! They were so excited to be home, jumping up and down, hugging us! Stay tuned for “wedding pictures” coming later today! We love all of you!!
