These are just four of our older boys, but they are the ones we depend on the most. From left to right…

George: He has been driving since he was about 12 years old. (Without our knowing! Ha!) George is small for his age, but he is the best “container driver” there is in Haiti!! He is now married to a sweet young wife, has a cute baby, and an “aggravating dog,” who thinks he is a Rottweiler!!

Jean Gardy: We call him the “Banker!” He is the brains who handles all the money for any project the guys have! He “pinches every penny!!” (This may be why he doesn’t have a girlfriend!!! Ha!)

Dieuferly: He was born with club feet. When he was small, there were military here doing free operations, but they were not “professionals with clubfoot.” They did their best, but since that day, Dieuferly has had lots of problems on both feet and suffers a lot of pain. He loves God and hopes for a miracle! Dieuferly runs the “Fresh Food” restaurant, formerly known as “Epidor.”

Mikael: He came from a poor family of four children. Mikael has a kind spirit on the inside, “but don’t mess with “Love A Child” or any Love A Child kids! He is sweet but tough! Mikael is at every Food Distribution, making sure there are no “mi-mi’s” (tricks) pulled! He is thin with a small build, but don’t let his size or his big smile fool you!! He really is tough!

We have raised these young men from the ages of babies and toddlers! We are so proud them! They “love” the poor, and they “love” the Lord! Thank you, Partners, who have watched over these young men since they were so young!
