“Christmas Eve” is always a happy time here at our Love A Child Children’s Home. It is tough to be a missionary and be away from your own children, your own grandchildren, but our children realize that this is a “calling” that takes us away from our own families many times.

All the older children were here as well as the younger children… a big family!!! We want to thank our donors for sending in new clothes, toys, etc. for the children! All the girls opened their gifts first and then the boys. There were a lot of screams and jumping up and down!! They had all worked very hard to put on the Christmas concert, and it was a success… now, it was time to open gifts and have fun!!!

The older children will be going on to universities… but they always come back “home” to their “brothers and sisters.” Someday, these children will make an impact on Haiti! We love them so much, and we love our family back in the states, too.

We want to wish all you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Jesus is the reason for the season.
