Before Sherry and I retire for bed this evening, we can’t get the poor children and families out of our minds. Oh, how the families suffer each day from the lack of food and medical care. Such stories would break your heart. We are sad tonight, thinking of all the things the Haitians must endure daily.
The gangs do not represent the Haitian people. Just like the gangs in America do not represent the American people. The Haitian people are some of the sweetest, most humble, hard-working people we’ve ever met. The children will steal your heart. One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible is “God’s 7 promises to those who help the poor.” “Blessed is he who considers the poor.” Psalm 41: 1-3
