A Haitian proverb says, “se moun ki sonje w ki voye di w bonjou,” meaning when someone remembers you, they send a greeting to let you know you’re not forgotten. When the mountain children heard that Love A Child would be in the remote area of La Source, they walked over two mountains of rough terrain to have that one meal they had been dreaming of! God is a God of perfect timing in His love, and today the Love A Child team prepared a nutritious, hot meal for the famished children that thought they were forgotten!
This proverb was repeated as the food was being prepared! Thank you for praying, thank you for giving; you have been an outstretched hand of the love of God to the hungry children of Haiti! You have made a big difference!
Love is something you do!!
