Kristela is the “Energizer Bunny,” she is never tired! She is now 19 and in the 9th grade. She has never stopped for anything since she was born!

Her mother, grandmother, and great grandmother were all involved in Voodoo and were “Voodoo mambas.” Her mother came to our clinic in the mountains, pregnant and sick. We treated her and prayed with her, and she accepted Jesus!

Twelve days later, Kristela’s mom died. Her father walked a long, long way through the mountains to bring the baby to us. She was malnourished and covered with sores! Her father asked us to take Kristela in, and so we did!

Kristela and her “sister” Daniella teach the other girls at our Love A Child Children’s Home praise dances! Kristela loves music! She is a good dancer and loves to do “African influenced” praise dances.

At around 4:30 a.m. (after the bullhorn goes off), she is the D.J. and puts Christian music on the mega sound system. After that, there are no chances of sleeping in! Ha! She wants to learn physical therapy! All I can say is that she is “sweet” and “tireless!”

We love her so much!
