The combination of famine and living with a large family in a makeshift hut is a combination of suffering beyond words.

Today, Hubert and the Love A Child team found the Flourant family in Kalibo, far in the interior of south Haiti, and provided rice, beans, and oil to sustain them for the next three weeks! We also provided a new tent to give them shelter until the Lord provides a house for them!

The six children lived off of roasted chestnuts for weeks off a tree that was not as affected by the drought that destroyed this year’s crops. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for praying and giving; today, this family and many others will have a hot meal because you obeyed the Lord and gave.
