My thoughts:

Sherry and I have lived in Haiti, “full time,” for 35 years. Most of that time, we have lived with our orphans (our family). We love them! All this time, we have been doing “many more projects” to help the Haitian people.

The last 6 years have been very stressful and tough, due to the gangs taking over much of Haiti… “kidnapping, rapes, murders, and gangs” also taking over Christian organization compounds, displacing tens of thousands of Haitians from their homes… leaving the poor to “never to return!” The list goes on of what we have faced.

If we did not have heavy and professional security, Love A Child would have been taken over by the gangs a long time ago! We must have the security to protect all Love A Child assets, which many of you have invested in and prayed for night and day. Through it all, we have not stopped or given up!

Love A Child is “open for business, God’s business!!” Through it all, we have been expanding! God is good…

Good news! I could be wrong, but I believe that within 3 or 4 months, the gangs may be gone and Haiti will try to return to normal. The gangs start about 8 miles from us, going all the way into Port-au-Prince. I’m hearing that in March, the gangs will be cleaned out, starting in the town of “Ganthier,” about 8 or so miles from us! We are praying and hoping for the best. We are praying for the gangs that they will know Jesus! We are claiming “Haiti for Christ!”
