Some of you may remember the story of the young Haitian boy, Djonsly. His mother, Madamn Beatrice, had taken him to many clinics in Haiti because of his eye. It was “bulging out of its socket!” No clinic or hospital in Haiti could help her son, but Madamn Beatrice has “great faith in God!” She prayed, and the Lord told her to go to Love A Child! However, our clinic knew this would require major surgeries because of Djonsly’s cancerous tumor, which had been pushing the eye out! God led us to the right hospital in the States, full of Christians who surrounded Djonsly with the best of care and God’s love! We sponsored an apartment for Djonsly and his mother to stay, with food to eat, during his stay in the U.S. He had major surgeries, but his medical visa expired and so he has to return to Haiti and re-apply. We believe that the process will go smoothly so that he can continue his treatment for cancer. He is a super-intelligent young man, and his mother (pictured) is a “devil chasing” Christian! “Love is something you do!” Bobby and Sherry
