The 400 Mawozo tried many times to break the nice concrete bridge coming into Ganthier near us. The new chief of police, who came by for food yesterday, told me late yesterday afternoon that the gang was not able to break the bridge completely. The gang welded some iron bars across the bridge and then welded a big steel container across the width of the bridge. This will stop any Kenyan police and military from Port-au-Prince from coming to help us.

Nothing or anyone will be able to come this way to Ganthier or Fond Parisien. I heard the gangs were trying to come into Fond Parisien from the back side of the mountain and the back side of the lake. They are trying to put fear into everyone, or it could be fake news.

We met with the mayor and ten from the committee of Ganthier. Two thousand families are very hungry and were run out of their homes in Ganthier. The mayor and committee are gathering every name and each family and how many are in each family. They will have a budget to feed them every day. In the next day or two, all will be in order and organized.

Orphans from Ganthier:

We discovered yesterday that 56 orphans who had been run out of Ganthier by the gangs were living in our Marketplace in one small room. They had been there since last Sunday! We will be feeding them every day now. Pray for them. We feel so sad. Matthew 25:40
