Widelene, one of our older orphan girls, has gone to college in Port-au-Prince to learn to be a “professional chef!” As soon as she came home from college, she started coming into the kitchen and teaching her “little brothers and sisters how to cook some new food” in our kitchen! She has “the patience of Job!!”

She is patiently getting all the ingredients together while her little “brothers” are just “chomping at the bit” to cut something up or stir something in!! She will be making cakes for the “Fresh Foods Restaurant!”

We are so proud of her! But I’m so happy that’s “her” teaching the little kids!! Ha!
