I always call her the “quiet twin.” Her mother, Mercilia, died after giving birth to Mika and her twin sister. She was from our “roughest, toughest” village that we ever worked in. Her father, a poor farmer, knew he could not raise these two fragile babies so he had someone carry the other twin and they made the big trip down the mountain to Love A Child.
Mika is quiet, loves to cook, and wants to be a dentist. She also loves outdoor sports, soccer, church, and music. She just recently turned 18. Mika is a hard working young lady, honest and quiet! (She also loves puzzles!)
She and her siblings here at the orphanage pray every day for the Lord to protect their home from the gangs. Her dream is to be a dentist. Thank you, Partners!! Sherry
