This is the village of “New Letant” in Haiti. This village actually was a village of mud huts down by Lake Azuei, about a 10-minute drive from Love A Child. These people used to live by the lake in mud huts… We had actually built each one a nice home and put furniture in it years ago. Until a series of small earthquakes began to make the lake rise… and the lake “took all the houses under water!!!”

After the major earthquake of 2010, Pastor Jentezen Franklin and his Kingdom Connection people gave us the funds to build those “Letant people” block homes right in the back of Miracle Village! So, these are the original, “Old Letant mud hut people,” who are now in nice block homes. However, they have no jobs and really struggle for food.

When they see our food truck coming, it brings them “hope!” These are such sweet people and we have been through a lot with them. We love them very much, and when our food truck comes they get “really happy!!!”

We wish we could bring every one of you to Haiti, to see how happy these families are to get food!!! Thank you so much for your sacrifice each month… for every box of food!!! You are the “answer to prayer” for many!!! We love you so much.
