We have known the people and children from “Old Letant” for a long time. Actually, the people here are people who “moved into “Old Letant.” They are not the original people but people and families from other areas who moved into this village. There is no “clean water source” in this village, and there are no jobs.

The soil is good enough to plant gardens. Some people try to catch fish from the lake. Some people try to find wood to make charcoal, but the people and families are in the poorest conditions. They all live in mud-and-stick homes. They really suffer from a lack of food.

When they see our trucks coming, they get so excited!!!! Each box of food means that they know their children can eat! God bless you, everyone, who helps feed the poor of Haiti!

P.S. As you may know, the President of Haiti and his wife were shot and killed today. For a long time, we have been telling people that “gangs” are in the streets, and Haiti is a country of violence. Please pray for us and all the missionaries here in Haiti.
