What a beautiful bride and a beautiful wedding couple!!! There was wonderful music, lots of singing, lots of laughter, lots of food, and lots of sweet wishes!! The wedding started on “Haitian time,” which is usually late.
Bobby and I felt really bad because we could not go. Our Haitian director, Nelio, said for us “not to go,” because we would be getting back too late, and there would be dangers on the road, and kidnappings. The wedding started on “Haitian time,” and it was absolutely gorgeous! Julia and her husband, Patrick, made a beautiful couple. He is an engineer and she is a lab tech at our Birthing Center.
Our Haitian girls came back today, very excited about the wedding. (They are in the pictures surrounding the bride!) All the people at the wedding were dressed so beautifully! We are so, so proud of our daughter, Julia, and her wonderful husband, Patrick!
We tell our Haitian daughters… “Jesus first, education second, and your husband, third.” Now, Julia will have a wonderful life, thanks to the “goodness of our wonderful Lord!” God is so good!!! Bobby and I are so very thankful.
