This scripture is from Deuteronomy 20:1. The Lord was talking to the children of Israel through Moses, His servant… “When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses, and chariots, and a people more than you, be not afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.”
They were facing such “huge battles,” and their hearts were filled with fear. They were not “warriors,” but just a peaceful people. The Lord knew that their biggest enemy was “fear,” but God had it all under control. Today, your battle may be a “debt” you need to pay. It could be a “health issue,” or a “bill” you have to pay, or another problem that seems “bigger than a mountain!”
If the Lord could take care of “thousands of Israelites” in a desert “for years,” with no grocery stores, no clothing stores, no shoe stores, no meat markets, and no weapons for defense, “He can surely take care of you!” The “battle” you are facing is “not yours!!!”
Write this down: “My battle belongs to the Lord!”
We love you!
