Too big for his britches! This is baby Zachary! We got him when he was about two months old. If you are reading this story for the first time, we met Zachary’s mother when she came to our clinic with this baby. She told our doctor she had “five children that died,” and one child that was missing! We found out that she was heavily involved in voodoo! When we took her home, her neighbor told us that she had already planned to kill “this baby” with a knife! We got permission from the Haitian Department of Social Affairs to take the baby. We named him “Zachary!” He was “scrawny” when we got him, but he’s been eating like a little pig! I had to go our depot and look for clothes for him. The packages said “3-6 months” so I brought them back.

Little Natalie was holding each piece up to see if it would fit, and then laid it down for another. Each time, Zachary would start crying… loud! The more he cried, the more Natalie and all of us laughed! Zachary wanted those clothes!! Look at the last picture… That’s when I told him “he had to go on a diet” and the clothes were too small!! It’s almost as if he “understood” and didn’t want any part of it!! Ha! Sherry
