To read the Book of Job makes me feel like a sinner. What a man of God he was! He faced the greatest “tests” of mankind and never sinned against his God.

While going through this great test he said, “But He knoweth the way that I take; when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” – Job 23:10

Job also said, “Though God slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” – Job 13:15

In the 50’s, there was a great preacher and man of God named Jack Coe. He used to sing this song, “Though God Slay Me, Yet I’ll Trust Him…” Sometimes when we are going through a trial, it’s hard to have faith and to believe that God still loves us… But He does for, “He knoweth the way that I take; when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold!” If you are going through a trial right now, hang on! There’s victory on the other side!
