These three young girls have been with us since they were ages three to five.

Fabienne, left, is studying to be a Dental Hygienist. She has been in college for over two years. She received the “mantel,” when she volunteered to help on dental teams. Fabienne is good and has a sweet spirit.

Widlene has been with us since she was about four. Her mother was sick, dying, and she wanted to leave her two little girls with us “before she died.” We sent her mother to a hospital, paid her bills, and then gave her a job at our orphanage. We cared for Widlene, her mother and sister for many years. Widlene speaks English and is very smart! She wants to study “physiology!”

Dimelia came to us when she was three, and she was burned very badly. She has been to the states many times for scar surgery. She speaks perfect English. Now, she is enrolled in Lumiere College in Haiti to enter the medical profession, possibly a doctor.
