We have three Love A Child orphans in the States right now receiving medical care to help improve their lives. The youngest one is Miliana. We found her several years ago in the village of Madamn Bauje. She was malnourished and had a horrible skin disease. She is staying with a host family in Dayton, OH, Beth Nolan and her family, and will be receiving treatment from a special dermatologist, who is helping her with her skin condition. They are providing wonderful care for Miliana as well as taking her to and from the dermatologist. Thank you Beth Nolan for giving Miliana a home away from home.

Our Dimelia is staying with Lori Hodell in New England. Lori and her family are hosting Dimelia while she recovers from skin graft surgery earlier this month. Dimelia was severely burned at a young age. She has undergone several surgeries over the last five or so years. She is recovering and doing well.

You may remember Dieubon, he has been with us for many years. He was born with clubfeet, which was surgically corrected when he was younger. A few years ago, he was diagnosed with spina bifida. He had surgery back in May to help reduce the pain he has been having with this condition. He is staying with our Love A Child Executive Directors, Rad and Sandra Hazelip. They have been hosting Dieubon since May and love taking care of him. Rad and Sandra live in an area that is not too far from our Fort Myers, Florida office.
