I am sure you all probably remember Ti Daniello (Ti Daniel)! He came to our children’s home as a little baby! He is such a sweetheart! Daniello is one of the kids where “you never know what you are going to get.” He has a way of coming up with some of the funniest solutions to things, and you always wonder what he is going to say or do next! With that being said, Daniello was hanging around some of the children’s home workers and me, as we were discussing “chicken pox.” Some of our kids had gotten them, and we were simply talking about it. I had given some calamine lotion to some of the workers for the kids who had it and they “gently” used it as needed. While all the kids were eating lunch one day, we all wondered why Daniello had not come to eat yet. When I walked into the hallway, this is how I found him! I asked him what he had all over him, and he told me, “calamine lotion,” and I asked why? He replied with, “Well I think I could get chicken pox.” He was convinced that if he covered himself with the lotion, that he surely would not get chicken pox! He walked around the rest of the day as white and as happy as could be! Daniello definitely keeps us on our toes! By the way, he never got chicken pox! Have a great day!
