What a tough little guy and such a “hard worker!” You can put this little guy up against the “big boys” playing soccer. He is very quiet and shy, but very hardworking. He will do any kind of job, and he will do it really well… And he never complains! He makes very good grades in school (when school is in session) and loves our nighttime “children’s services” here at our Love A Child Children’s Home!

I asked Ti David what he wanted to be in life when he finished with all of his schoolings… He said, “A doctor.” That kind of shocked me, because he doesn’t look “like the doctor type.” I said, “Well, that will probably take you six to eight more years of education after you finish Philo (Haiti’s last school year).” He quickly changed his mind to “a mechanic!” I think that fits him better!!! Every child here in Haiti, whether in our Children’s Home or some other place, has a “dream.” It’s sad to know that many talented children here in Haiti will never have their dream come true because it is very, very difficult for a poor child to get the best education.

However, we always encourage all of our children to “put God first” and seek a good education, because we want them to be a part of those “who change Haiti for the good!” Sherry
