Meet Mika… We call her “Ti Mika,” or little Mika. We found her near the village of Madamn Bauje when we were doing a television program. She was sitting on the ground with red hair, severe malnutrition and being cared for by her elderly grandma. I knew she would not live if we left her in the village. So, I told her grandmother we wanted to care for her because she was going to die. We drove off with “Mika.” She survived! She is a tough little girl, missing some teeth, but always smiling and usually “in some kind of trouble!!!” Ha! She does well in school, loves church and really is a wonderful little girl!
