I love this young girl! It was “just like yesterday” when we were in her village filming for our TV show, and showing how poor the village people were. We were not there long when we saw an elderly woman feeding a baby in her arms. She gave the baby a few grains of rice and then set the baby on the ground and walked away. The tiny infant then put a handful of dirt inside her mouth!

I went to “Grandma” and talked to her about this baby, who was “eating dirt!” She was happy to give the baby to us because she could not feed her. We took Ti Mika home with us and raised her! She is now 17 and in 11th grade and wants to be a pediatrician! Her favorite thing is still “dolls and dominos!” We all love her!
