Ti Mika (little Mika) is now 12 years old and in 6th grade. What change has come into her life since we first brought her home.

She was in a poor village being raised by her grandmother. When we first saw her, she was not even a year old, sitting on the ground, putting dirt in her mouth. She had red hair and severe malnutrition.

Her grandmother got to see a picture of Ti Mika before she died, and as she held the picture in her hands, she said, “now I can die peacefully, knowing she is well.” Ti Mika loves to dance and she is part of the “dance and praise team” from our Love A Child Children’s home. She helps in the laundry room and is always smiling. She wants to be a “kindergarten teacher.” She is a sweetie and we love her so much.
