Have you ever heard someone complaining about life, why they didn’t get that job, or why she let that “good-looking man” slip right through her fingers? We can always blame it on something! But the Bible says, “I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, not yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but ‘time and chance’ happened to them all.” Ecc. 9:11

God “evens out the playing field.” We cannot say “If I didn’t have this, or if I had that, I could have this, or I could have done that…”

Time and chance come our way for everyone. Let’s put our lives daily in God’s hands!
