We landed here in the Dominican Republic from the U.S. on Monday afternoon. We only got out of Haiti by a miracle last week because the D.R. border is closed, and the gangs control the roads in our area of Haiti.

Jackson is out of critical medicine that we must purchase and get back to him immediately. This is for his dialysis. He also needs other meds for infection. The doctors just told Jesse that “because he has a problem,” the D.R. doctors want a picture of him “every day.”

We tried and tried but could not get across the border from the D.R. into Haiti. It is “impossible to cross the Border into Haiti.” The President of the D.R. said he might not open the border until the Kenyan troops leave because the gangs will try to break through the border.

Jesse and Evie Ostrander, and Philemond are here with us, taking care of some legal paperwork with our Dominican Attorney. Just pray that we can get back into Haiti and get Jackson his life-saving medicine. This is critical! Thank you for your prayers for Jackson and the Haitian people!
