Some Detail:      

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. Sherry and I returned home safe this afternoon to our orphans, where we live. Jesse Ostrander and the kids are down at the lake “swimming.” It is a  4 1/2 mile round trip walk through the woods, springs, and marsh!

Because of the gangs, no international flights can come to the Port-au-Prince Airport. We had to fly yesterday into the Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic Airport, and stay in our Love A Child Apartment there. This morning, we drove several hours to the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. “Crossing the border” into Haiti is “another story! Philimond meets us at the border and gets us across. Our orphans’ home is about 8 miles from the border. Everyone on both sides of the border is very nice to Sherry and me. Americans are not allowed to cross the border. Everyone knows we must be home to take care of our orphan children. Love is something you do!
