Saturday, our good friend Pastor Claude asked if he could send children from his Ebenezer Orphanage to our orphanage on Sunday afternoon to play together! (We sponsor and support this orphanage every month!) Sunday afternoon his children arrived and they “hit the basketball court” and “turned the music up!” The kids played soccer and jumped rope for hours! Then, we loaded up the kids from both orphanages and took them to our restaurant at Gwo Mache Mirak. The restaurant is “Epi D’or Fresh Food,” and it is now being run by some of our older “Love A Child” kids, Dieuferly and Jean Gardy. The kids had ice cream, hot dogs, drinks, and lots of fun! It was a break from all the fear of the gangs!!! It was great for both orphanages to get together!
