Some of you may be following the story of Alvin Jonsley, age 14. He has a brain tumor, which has pushed its way on to the optic nerve and is pushing his eye out of its socket. He will die without an operation. The hospital and doctors in the States are ready to take him, but it has been a struggle just to get passports for him and his mother. This is the second time Haiti’s passport agency has made a mistake on his mother’s passport. They say it should be ready by Monday. If so, we can start the process for the Medical Visa.
